Could you please provide us with the final model with the correct topology? I believe I’ve deviated significantly from what you demonstrated in the videos, which is making it impossible to move forward.

The issue is that the content is somewhat difficult to follow. I would greatly appreciate your help with this, as I was initially planning to purchase additional sections to continue progressing. However, I’m unable to do so if I can’t follow these next steps. Thank you!

I’ve added the model file to the tutorial. You can now download the sample model directly from the tutorial’s resource section.

I had trouble, as noted in my first comment below, replicating the various 3-edge and 5-edge poles as shown around the 12-minute mark in the video. I was able to build straight loops using only the four 5-edge poles at the bottom and top of the rib cage. These were the ones that were placed at the beginning of the Topology 1 video. Is this ok? I sent the example to you in an email?

I must be the only itdiot on this course. You have lost me again. Between 10: ish to 12:10 I can’t make heads or tils out of what you have done. Tomorrow is my 76th birthday and I feel like a total failure on this course. I need to learn what your are trying to teach but I just don’t think I am up to par. I am going to email you another screenshot of where I am. I check the 5-edge pole at the front shoulder, and work my way back to the 3-edge pole and own as landmarks but I still can’t make sense out of it.

No, you’re not an idiot, this is quite hard to follow. I would have preferred if he started by laying down foundational loops and would’ve just connected them step by step to create the entire mesh
