Hi. The wolf_model_blender file included for this tutorial contains the wolf model at an incredibly high geometry count. It also has a Multires modifier (I think this might be the problem). I noticed that your video model is at a lower poly count. I am having bad performance issues when manipulating the skinned armature in chapter 10. Suggestions?
You’re absolutely right. You should go ahead and remove the Multires modifier. This modifier stores the high-resolution details from the modeling phase, which are mainly used for texturing. It’s not needed during the rigging and binding stages. Keeping it active can lead to lagging or even crashes.
