1. Why can't I select the model or controllers? Is it locked?

Some models open in a “non-selectable” state by default. You can fix this by enabling object selection filters or refer to our basic setup guide for help. If the issue still persists, confirm you have switched to the correct controller layer.

2. Why are the lights or camera not showing up after opening the file?

In some Blender versions, object visibility might be disabled by default. Make sure the objects are enabled in the “View Layer” panel, and check if “Simplify” mode is active.

3. How do I import the model into another Blender project?

You can import models using:

Copy/paste between two open Blender sessions;

The “Append” function to import the full collection;

Make sure textures, actions, and particle systems are included during import.

4. How do I export the model as OBJ or another format for use elsewhere?

For static poses in other software or renderers:

Pose the model as desired;

Select the model, then export as OBJ/FBX;

If the model has hair, convert it to mesh or simplify before export.

5. How can I change the model's color or material, like turning a crow blue?

In the Shader Editor, you can use a Mix node to blend the original texture with a custom color. We provide demo videos to help guide the process.

6. Hair scale or display is abnormal after import—how to fix it?

If hair appears oversized or distorted after importing to a new project, check the following:

Is “Simplify” mode enabled?

Is the model at its original scale?

Is the correct hair display level active?

7. Why does the hair intersect with clothing? How to make the hair flat?

This is a common issue. Use vertex groups to control hair density around clothing areas, or follow our tutorial video to hide or compress intersecting hair. Cloth collision objects can also help with hair simulation.

8. How do I modify hair shapes, shorten tail feathers, or adjust the body?

Most models allow pose adjustments via controllers or shape keys. To further modify the model (e.g., shorten a peacock’s tail), you can use Sculpt Mode with shape keys. Avoid extreme changes to maintain hair stability.

9. Why are there multiple body meshes? Can I delete them?

Some models include auxiliary meshes, such as low-res volumes for hair collision simulation. If you don’t need these, you can delete them without affecting the main model.

10. Can I deeply modify the model, such as adding clothes or special effects?

Yes. All model elements—geometry, materials, textures—are fully editable in Blender. You’re free to modify, add clothing, customize hair, or redo texturing.

11. How can I modify path-based animations (e.g., a snake slithering along a curve)?

If your model uses path animations (e.g., a snake), simply select the control curve (e.g., “Path Animation”), then edit keyframes or disable the animation to change the character’s movement.

12. I use other 3D software (e.g., Maya, C4D)—can I still use the model?

Though models are native to Blender, you can export them as FBX or Alembic for use in other DCC software. We can also provide texture or Hair Card versions if needed.

13. Can you customize textures or patterns on the model? Do you offer extra services?

Yes! If you’d like custom fur patterns or textures (e.g., for product demonstration), send us reference images. We offer customization services based on project complexity.
