1. Does the purchase include animation, textures, hair, and full rigging?

Yes! Each purchase includes:

The complete .blend file;

Full rigging with controllers;

Materials and textures;

Particle hair system;

Any listed animations (if shown on the product page).

Extra charges only apply for custom requests(e.g. custom animations).

2. Does the model include a T-Pose?

Most animal models use a natural standing pose instead of a T-Pose, which isn't standard for quadruped rigs. If you need a T-Pose version, contact us after purchase to check availability.

3. Can I modify the hair shape, color, or textures?

Yes! Since the hair uses Blender’s particle system, you can adjust:

Length and density;

Material settings and color of maps;

Replace or customize textures.

Need help? Send us a reference image, and we’ll provide a quotation and timeline for customization.

4. Can the model be used in After Effects or other non-3D software?

The model is in Blender format, best used within Blender. To use in apps like After Effects, render sequences (e.g., PNG or EXR with transparency) for compositing.

5. Does the model have a Hair Card version?

Most models currently use Blender’s particle system for hair. Hair Card versions (optimized for game engines) are not included by default. If you need Hair Cards, contact us to discuss custom options.

6. Are the two identically priced models only different in textures? Can the textures be purchased separately?

Yes. For example, the "Orange Cat" and "Gray Cat" share the same model structure but differ in textures only. If you only need one base model, you may purchase additional textures separately as extension resources. Please contact customer service to confirm the available options.

7. Are tutorials or user guides included?

All models come with basic usage instructions, which can be found on our official FAQ page.

If you're a beginner, we recommend familiarizing yourself with the basics of Blender before using the models. We've also prepared introductory video tutorials: [Click to view].

8. What Blender versions are supported? Can the files be imported into other software?

Models are created based on Blender 3.x–4.x and are backward compatible with versions from 2.93 onward. To import into other DCC software (e.g., Maya, 3ds Max), you can export the models in universal formats such as FBX or Alembic for further processing.

9. Are the models suitable for film-level VFX compositing?

Yes. Most of our models have been used in actual films, shorts, and VFX scenes. They offer sufficient resolution and accuracy for integration and replacement of live-action characters (e.g., facial/body tracking), making them suitable for professional use.

10. How to avoid hair rendering errors or misuses? What should be noted before purchase?

Please carefully read the product page, especially:

Recommended Blender version

Hair system (particle) usage guide

Animation and export precautions

Issues like hair floating or misalignment can usually be resolved by clearing cache, rebaking, or disabling hair dynamics.

11. Can the model be demonstrated via screen sharing? Can I preview functions remotely before purchase?

For specific needs (e.g., custom project evaluation), we can provide demo videos of selected features. Live screen sharing is currently not supported.

12. Does the purchase include copyright? Can I get full transfer of usage rights?

Standard licensing is “project-based,” allowing you to use the model for any commercial or non-commercial project. However, copyright remains with VFX Grace. For full copyright transfer, please contact us—individual quotes are available upon project value assessment.

13. Is my hardware capable of handling these models? Are there any GPU or RAM requirements?

Recommended specs:

CPU: Intel i7 or AMD Ryzen 7 and above

GPU: RTX 3060 or higher (RTX 4080 recommended)

RAM: Minimum 32GB (64GB recommended)

Stronger GPU and RAM are advised for character animation, hair rendering, or high-resolution output.
